ABOUT US

It has been a long time since my husband and I attended art school together, but the road since has always included art in one form or another. I had the privilege of having my own professional photography studio, and my husband found a rewarding career in sales. We have always kept our toes in the art world, visiting museums, galleries, and botanical gardens on our frequent travels. I was never without my camera, and my husband always carried a sketchbook. Our time at home was spent gardening, drawing, or painting. I once had over 70 rare orchids that were gifted to friends and family when we moved from Miami to Denver in 2021. We have kept very busy since our move west, pursuing our passions. I continued my photography as well as watercolor painting. In the summer, our gardens are always full of gorgeous blooms, and I photograph many of them to paint during the winter months. My husband created five beautiful flower beds, and he now presses petals taken from our garden to create exquisite pieces of art. We have a beautiful studio on the ground level of our home for painting, drawing, and my husband’s pressed flowers. Upon the suggestion of our daughter, we decided to start a small business sharing our love of flowers and art. Hence, Morgan Tyler Botanicals was established. How lucky are we.

(Morgan & Tyler are the names of our two kids).
